Altered Images: Open Exhibition

Art under Attack: Histories of British Iconoclasm, currently on show at Tate Britain, is ‘the first exhibition exploring the history of physical attacks on art in Britain from the 16th century to the present day. Iconoclasm describes the deliberate destruction of icons, symbols or monuments for religious, political or aesthetic motives.’

Coincidentally, it seems that my chaplaincy postcards are being creatively ‘attacked’ so I thought I’d organise a little exhibition of my own. To submit your work, just stick a stamp on your altered card and pop it in the post – the address is already on the reverse. Alternatively, you can email me an image – that address is on the front. All works received will be exhibited here, so include your name if you’d like a credit. It’s going to be smashing!
